PRE-CONSTRUCTION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Pre Construction: we can work with and lead your design & consultant team from the feasibility and town planning phase through to project delivery. We bring our expertise in design and construction to ensure the design outcomes are delivered to our clients brief and expectations. This includes designing to a brief & cost plan, meeting and or exceeding all current standards and guidelines, incorporating best practice and value for money design solutions.

Constructability Advice: construction planning and methodology tailored to suit site and local area requirements as early as the feasibility phase.

Project Tendering & Bid Submission: we can assist in developing and executing your win strategy from as early as the ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) to RFT (Request for Tender) stage.

Construction Planning & Programming: Develop detailed design, procurement and construction programme's (Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project).
​
Head & Sub Contractor Claims: assist in developing your claims for any extensions of time, including delay damages if applicable, variation assessment and any other disputes arising under your respective contracts.
Risk Management: development of risk management matrix and plans.

Design Development & Management: we can manage your project from the early design phase including engagement of design consultants, through to Project Management and Superintendent services. This includes running an open tender for your project, head contract finalisation, and project oversight acting on the developers/client’s behalf.

Expert Witness: undertake inspections and provide Expert Witness report.

Quentin Design & Build specialises in the construction and delivery of bespoke technical buildings in the residential and commercial sector. It is our expertise & experience in design and construction management that provides our clients certainty that their projects will be delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
We are by no means a volume builder and work for a small selection of clients who share our methodical and professional approach to building. Prior to commencement of any new build we will present to our clients the following;

A detailed design review to ensure missing or uncoordinated design, code and material compliance with relevant National Construction Code & Australian Standards, and construction buildability issues are resolved and accounted for in the construction price.

Construction planning and scheduling in the form of a detailed construction management plan and trackable programme of works.

Identification of client hold and inspection points during construction to ensure absolute client satisfaction.

Identify innovative & smart construction techniques that allow for a safer, quicker and more economical build.

Liaise with utility and service providers to understand lead times and coordinate any requirements which may impact completion a the onset.

A list of tried and trusted network of specialist subcontractors who will partner on the build.

The form for construction progress reports.

Provide a detailed cost plan and trade brake down showing all allowances including site preliminaries, supervision and margin.
